Our Safety Policy
At Eureka Security, the safety of our clients, their properties, and our employees is the foundation of everything we do.

Our Commitment to Safety
At Eureka Security, safety is the cornerstone of our operations. We are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for our clients, their property, our employees, and the public. Every decision we make is guided by our unwavering dedication to safety and professional excellence.
Our safety policies are developed in full compliance with all relevant British Columbia legislation, WorkSafeBC regulations, and industry best practices. We continuously review and update our protocols to reflect the latest standards in the security industry.
Core Pillars of Our Safety Program
Risk Assessment
We conduct thorough risk assessments for every client site, identifying potential hazards and developing mitigation strategies before deployment.
Continuous Training
All personnel undergo rigorous initial safety training and participate in ongoing professional development programs to maintain the highest standards.
Incident Reporting
Every incident, no matter how minor, is documented with detailed digital reports including timestamps and photographic evidence for full transparency.
Policy Review
Our safety policies are reviewed quarterly and updated to reflect changes in regulations, industry standards, and lessons learned from field operations.
Our Safety Standards in Practice
Employee Screening & Licensing
Every Eureka Security guard holds a valid British Columbia Security Worker License issued by the Registrar of Security Services. All employees undergo comprehensive background checks, reference verification, and criminal record screening before being assigned to any client site. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for any violations of professional conduct standards.
Emergency Response Protocols
Our guards are trained in standardized emergency response procedures, including fire evacuation, medical emergencies, natural disasters, and active threat scenarios. Each client site has a customized emergency response plan developed during our initial risk assessment, and our 24/7 dispatch center provides real-time support during any critical incident.
Health & Workplace Safety
We comply fully with WorkSafeBC regulations and maintain a comprehensive occupational health and safety program. This includes proper personal protective equipment (PPE) provision, ergonomic assessments for guard stations, and protocols for working in extreme weather conditions common in the Lower Mainland. Our guards are trained to identify and report workplace hazards immediately.
Use of Force Policy
Eureka Security maintains a strict use-of-force policy that prioritizes de-escalation and conflict resolution. Our guards are trained in verbal de-escalation techniques and are instructed to use only the minimum force necessary to ensure the safety of all individuals. All use-of-force incidents are thoroughly reviewed and documented.
Communication & Accountability
We maintain open communication with our clients through regular safety briefings, detailed shift reports, and a dedicated client portal for real-time incident tracking. Our GPS-tracked patrol system ensures complete accountability and transparency for every guard on every shift.
